We make corrugated boxes in Ahmedabad and ship them by sea from Gujarat and Mumbai to buyers overseas. Every export order is specified the same way as a domestic one: the load, the route and the handling decide the ply, board grade, flute and bursting strength, and you approve a physical sample before a bulk run is made.

What changes for export is the journey. Boxes that sit in a container for weeks, in humid air, at the bottom of a stack, need board with margin for it — and the shipping marks, handling symbols and paperwork have to be right before the consignment reaches the port.

FOB or CIF — you choose where our responsibility ends

Both terms are for sea freight, and under both the risk passes to you once the boxes are loaded on board at the Indian port. The difference is who books and pays for the voyage.

FOB · Free On Board

You book the freight

We deliver the boxes to the port, clear them for export and load them on board the vessel your forwarder has booked. Sea freight, insurance and everything after loading are yours. Suits buyers who already ship with their own forwarder.

CIF · Cost, Insurance & Freight

We book the freight

We arrange and pay for sea freight and marine insurance to your destination port, as well as export clearance. You handle import clearance and delivery from the destination port. Suits buyers who want one price to their port.

A box that is fine for a two-day truck journey can fail after four weeks in a container. We specify for the voyage.

Export & Industrial Boxes

HumidityBoard loses strength in damp air. The grade is chosen with margin for the weeks at sea and the storage on arrival.
Container stackingBoxes at the bottom of a container carry everything above them for the whole voyage, so the board is specified for compression.
Pallets and ISPM 15All-corrugated boxes need no treatment; wooden pallets under them must be ISPM 15 treated and marked.

What export buyers ask

Which ports do you ship from?

Mundra and Pipavav in Gujarat, and Nhava Sheva (Jawaharlal Nehru Port) in Navi Mumbai. We choose the port with you, from the sailing schedule to your destination.

Do you quote FOB or CIF?

Both. FOB covers the boxes loaded on board at the Indian port; from there, freight and insurance are yours. CIF adds sea freight and insurance to your destination port. Tell us which you want when you ask for a quotation.

Do corrugated export boxes need ISPM 15 treatment?

No. ISPM 15 covers wooden packaging such as pallets and crates, not corrugated board, so an all-corrugated box needs no treatment. If a consignment ships on wooden pallets, those pallets must be ISPM 15 treated and marked.

Can you print shipping marks and handling symbols?

Yes. Consignee and destination marks, carton numbers and ISO 780 handling symbols are printed in our own plant, to the marking instructions you send.

How long does an export order take?

It depends on the quantity, the print and the sailing schedule from the port. We confirm the production time and the earliest shipment date with each quotation.

Can we get a sample before an export order?

Yes. You approve a physical sample made to the proposed specification before any bulk run is made.
